2026 Desk Calendars

These desk calendars are collections of photographs by Cindy Sheffield Michaels.

Michaels, a native Mississippian, received a BA in Spanish from Hendrix College in Arkansas and an MA in English from Georgia State University. She took photography courses at both schools, though she credits her father for the spark that helped her start seeing art in the world around her. She is an editor of the written word who loves her job, and the attention to detail it requires has rubbed off on her photography: her current focus is macro compositions, often abstractions of everyday items in the world around us.

Michaels lives near Decatur, Georgia, with her always-supportive husband, bassist Darren Michaels, her brilliant and beautiful daughter, and an unreasonable number of dogs.
